These purchase conditions apply as an agreement between you as a consumer (“you”) and PLWD AB (“PLWD”), org.nr. 556911-0892, with address BILLDALS HAGENVÄG 35 B, 427 37 Billdal,
e-mail: hello@plwd.se, when ordering products from www.plwd.se (the “Website”).
1. GENERAL
1.1 In order to complete an order on the website, you must certify that you are over 18 years of age. PLWD agrees, under Swedish law, not to accept credit card payment from persons under 18 years of age. PLWD reserves the right, in individual cases, to deny or modify your order (e.g. if PLWD suspects fraud, you have provided false personal information, and/or holds a non-payment of debt). The website and all content is owned by PLWD or its licensees. The content is protected by including intellectual property and marketing laws. This means that trademarks, trade names, product names, images, graphics, design, layout and information products, services and other content may not be copied or used without the written consent of PLWD.
1.2 You declare that all the information you have provided is correct.
2. ORDER AND ACCEPTANCE OF PURCHASE CONDITIONS
2.1 By clicking on “I accept the terms of purchase”, in the PLWD digital checkout (“Checkout”), you accept these terms of purchase for ordering our Products. You confirm the order of the Products added to the shopping cart by clicking on the “Confirm purchase” button.
2.2 From the moment you click “Confirm Purchase”, for orders that are made to order such as fronts, sides, painted tops and plinths, you have the right to cancel your order within 48 hours. Orders containing only in-stock products such as stone tops, mixers, sinks, handles, legs and color samples are sent within 1-2 working days and are therefore binding.
2.3 PLWD approves your order only when payment has been made and approved by the card payment company or PayPal, or when Klarna AB (“Klarna”) has approved your credit. PLWD reserves the right not to always offer all payment methods.
2.4 After you have confirmed the purchase, PLWD will send an order confirmation with the details of the purchase to the email address you provided at checkout. Please note that it is therefore important that you provide the correct information when placing an order. PLWD recommends that you save the order confirmation to facilitate any contact with our customer support. The order confirmation is also your proof that you have completed your purchase. If you have not received an order confirmation within 24 hours, please contact PLWD Customer Support to confirm your purchase.
3. PERSONAL DATA
3.1 PLWD is committed to your privacy and security. When you shop on the website, we store some of your personal information to enable you to complete your purchase. You have the right to request access to the data we hold about you, and if any information is inaccurate, you can have it amended or deleted. PLWD may also use cookies to improve your user experience on the website. For more information on how we process personal data and cookies, please read our Privacy Policy.
4. PLWDS PRODUCTS
4.1 PLWD sells and manufactures to order: doors, sides, handles, legs and plinths with the characteristics and to the extent stated in the product description available on the website. All images on the website are for illustrative purposes only. Such illustrations cannot be guaranteed to reproduce the products you receive, their exact appearance, function or origin. PLWD manufactures products in natural materials such as plywood and linoleum etc. that may change in appearance over time and/or experience a patina over time due to wear and tear and/or normal use. This is a natural process in natural materials and not a reason for complaint. PLWD will, as far as possible, inform you about this in its product descriptions. If you experience a lack of information, we recommend that you contact our customer support before proceeding with your purchase.
5. PRICES
5.1 All prices for products listed on the Website are shown in the currency of your choice and, where applicable, including the VAT rate for the country to which the receipt is issued within the EU. VAT is not included in our prices for customers outside the EU. Orders to non-EU countries may be subject to local VAT, import duties and/or taxes levied when your package reaches your country. You are responsible for the payment of such import duties and taxes. PLWD has no control over these fees, and because these fees are different for different countries, PLWD cannot predict these costs. Contact your local customs office for more information. The price does not include payment fees and shipping costs, which are added separately.
5.2 PLWD reserves the right to change the prices on the Website at any time and to correct the prices after any errors have occurred.
5.3 Prices may vary depending on the country you are ordering from. The final price for products is presented at the checkout.
5.4 The price for shipping the Products depends on the size and weight of the Products and the destination of the Products. The total price for Products and shipping is presented at the Checkout.
5.5 Please note that changing the country of delivery may affect the shipping cost.
6. PAYMENT
6.1 For the processing of payments, PLWD uses a third party provider. Once you have clicked “Confirm purchase”, your payment will be processed by our third-party payment service provider where you will be able to complete your payment. By selecting a payment method, you acknowledge that you understand and agree that PLWD’s third-party payment service provider’s terms and conditions will apply to your payment. You can find these conditions at the checkout before placing your order.
6.2 You understand and agree that it is the applicable third party payment solution provider, whose terms and conditions in their entirety apply to your payment to PLWD. Should there be a problem with a payment, PLWD shall not be held responsible for this and you are advised to contact the respective payment provider.
6.3 PLWD reserves the right to refuse an order if the invoice payment, or other payment method chosen by you is not approved. PLWD reserves the right to not always offer all payment methods, and to change the payment method if for any reason your choice of payment does not work at the time of purchase.
6.4 PLWD does not store or handle bank or credit card numbers on the website, or any other information that you provide to the payment provider.
6.5 PLWD reserves the right to cancel a purchase if fraud is suspected.
7. TERMS OF DELIVERY
7.1 We offer different shipping methods and delivery conditions depending on the product, shipping weight and your location in the world. The choices you can make are shown at the checkout when you pay.
7.2 Mode of delivery – postal agent or carrier’s terminal
7.2.1 PLWD offers you the possibility to pick up smaller items at your postal agent or shipping company’s terminal. The agent can be a food and tobacco shop. Please note that when your order contains fronts or pages, you will usually be offered home delivery, in some cases the carrier’s terminal may also be offered as a delivery point depending on the size of the order and the country.
7.2.2 Should Products not be collected, they will be returned to PLWD. For unclaimed Products, PLWD will charge you for the costs incurred in connection with the return. These costs consist of return shipping and the cost of storing Products in a warehouse before they can be returned. The storage cost amounts to 295 SEK/day for larger orders delivered on pallets or equivalent load carriers. For smaller shipments, the storage cost is 30 SEK/day/package (e.g. small items such as handles and legs). Thus, if you have more than one package, the cost will be higher than 30SEK/day.
7.3 Shipping methods – Home delivery
7.3.1 PLWD offers you the possibility to have your order delivered to your home. This means up to your gate if you live in an apartment, and up to your property line if you live in a house. “Up to” means as close to your gate or property line as a truck can get.
7.3.2 Should Products not be received upon home delivery, they will be returned to PLWD and for Products received by Customer, PLWD will charge you for the costs incurred in connection with the return. These costs consist of return shipping and the cost of storing Products in a warehouse before they can be returned. The storage cost amounts to 295 SEK/day for larger orders delivered on pallets or equivalent load carriers. For smaller shipments, the storage cost is 30 SEK/day/package (e.g. small items such as handles and legs). Thus, if you have more than one package, the cost will be higher than 30SEK/day.
7.4 Delivery times
7.4.1 Stocked products are normally shipped within 1-2 working days.
7.4.2 For Products made to order, such as fronts, sides and plinths, are usually shipped after 4-5 weeks as specified on the website. Unforeseen problems or delays in manufacturing your products can affect your delivery time. In addition, holiday periods may cause longer delivery times than those indicated on the website. PLWD will do its best to inform you of this, as well as keep you informed of any delays regarding your delivery.
7.4.3 For Products made to order, such as fronts, sides and plinths, are sent after 4-5 weeks.
7.4.4 If stocked Products and order products are part of the same order, the longer delivery time applies.
7.4.5 The delivery time for your products should always be seen as an estimate indicating when your order will be delivered. PLWD cannot give you an exact delivery date for your order.
7.4.6 Please note that changing the country of delivery may affect the estimated delivery time.
7.5 Transport damage
7.5.1 When you receive your delivery from PLWD, you as a customer shall promptly examine and check whether the packaging and/or the Product is damaged. If any transport damage to the packaging and/or the Product is detected, this should be noted on the supplier’s/delivery point’s transport document/notice.
7.5.2 In the case of home delivery, any transport damage to the packaging and/or the Product shall be noted on the consignment note before the supplier leaves the site.
7.5.3 Any transport damage to packaging or product shall be documented with photos, with and without packaging, and communicated to the supplier within 7 days of delivery.
7.5.4 PLWD’s liability to you for any loss or damage arising in connection with your order on the Website is limited to the total amount of your order. PLWD has no responsibility for indirect losses.
7.6 Customer’s ability to pay
7.6.1 Should PLWD have reason to question your ability to pay, PLWD reserves the right to stop the delivery and has no obligation to carry out the delivery until full payment of the order has been received by PLWD, or a decision on another agreement has been made.
8. COMPLAINTS
8.1 If you wish to make a complaint about a product due to a defect, please notify us by email: order@plwd.se.
8.2 In the event of a complaint, PLWD bears the costs of any return shipping. Before sending the product, make sure that your request has been received and approved by PLWD Customer Support.
8.3 In case of return shipping due to a complaint, you are responsible for packing the Product so that it is not damaged during transportation.
9. DESTINATION
9.1 If the delivery is delayed from what has been promised, PLWD does not reimburse any costs for lost labor income or compensation for hired external assembly assistance. PLWD does not take responsibility for any damage resulting from exceeding an announced delivery time.
10. EEL DISH
10.1 Consumers in the EU and EEA have a 14-day right of withdrawal for goods purchased online from the day the goods are delivered to the customer. This means that you as a customer must notify PLWD that you are withdrawing your purchase within 14 days from the day you received delivery of the goods. You can do this by emailing us at order@plwd.se and clearly stating that you are canceling your purchase, or use the standard document for exercising the right of withdrawal produced by the Swedish Consumer Agency, click here.
Please note that PLWD will only reimburse you for the Products purchased, not any costs associated with shipping, transportation and/or payment fees or other charges.
Please note that this right of withdrawal only applies to consumers and to purchases from the regular product range. This means that the right of withdrawal does not apply to the purchase of a product manufactured according to a customer’s unique specification, e.g.: – the purchase of a new product. on order and colored according to the customer’s wishes based on the NCS register.
10.2 When invoking the right of withdrawal, the purchase price will be refunded as soon as possible, but no later than 14 days after PLWD has received your notification that you are canceling your purchase. PLWD may withhold payment until we have received the goods, or if you have proved that the goods have been returned to us. Refunds will be made to the source of the original purchase, unless otherwise agreed or problems arise.
10.3 In the event of a return, the Buyer is obliged to compensate PLWD for any loss of value resulting from the examination of the Product, if the examination was more extensive than necessary. However, the Buyer is entitled to check the condition of the Product on delivery.
10.4 The Buyer is responsible for all return shipping costs in case of withdrawal.
Keep in mind: Please note that the return shipping cost when exercising your right of withdrawal is likely to be more expensive than the shipping you paid to get the goods home. This is because the purchase of one-off freight services is significantly more expensive than large volumes of freight. If damage occurs during such a return shipment, you should claim compensation from the shipping company you use. Therefore, check the insurance conditions of the shipping company you use to make sure you will be fully compensated in case of damage.
As all our orders are unique, we cannot provide a cost schedule for return costs. If you have questions regarding the cost of return shipping, please contact PLWD Customer Support, order@plwd.se, who will do their best to provide you with an estimated cost of return shipping.
10.5 The Buyer is responsible for returning the Product in perfect condition. The product must be returned well packaged in the same package in which it was delivered or in an equivalent package (maximum one package). In the event of a return shipment when invoking the right of withdrawal, you are responsible for packing the Product so that it is not damaged during transportation.
10.6 PLWD reserves the right to refuse a return if any of the above conditions and the conditions in clause 7.5 are not met. You are then responsible for the cost of return shipping, or PLWD can, for an administrative fee, dispose of the shipment despite non-compliance.

11. GUARANTEE
11.1 PLWD always strives to deliver the highest quality but makes no guarantees that the quality, suitability or use of the Products will meet your expectations.
11.2 PLWD’s Products are PLWD’s responsibility until they reach the delivery address.
12. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
12.1 PLWD is not liable for any damage and any costs incurred in connection with the assembly and use of PLWD’s Products.
12.2 PLWD is not liable for any damages and any costs incurred as a result of typographical errors or out-of-date information on the Website.
12.3 With further reference to Section 6, you acknowledge and understand that it is the applicable third party payment solution provider, whose terms and conditions in their entirety apply to your payment to PLWD. Should there be a problem with a payment, PLWD shall not be held responsible for this and you are advised to contact the respective payment provider.
13. FORCE MAJEURE
13.1 In the event of war, strike, riot, disaster, sharp price changes on the world market, failures in electrical communications, telecommunications, data connections or other communications, as well as defective or non-delivery of goods by subcontractors, and comparable events that are beyond the control and foresight of PLWD, PLWD is released from its obligations to fulfill these purchase conditions under force majeure. If this happens, PLWD will try to notify you.
14. APPLICABLE LAW AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION
14.1 These conditions shall be governed and constructed in accordance with Swedish law. To the extent permitted by law, disputes arising out of, or in connection with these Terms, or your use of the Service shall be settled under Swedish law and by Swedish courts, except in cases where PLWD voluntarily chooses to take legal action against the customer or user where it is domiciled.
14.2 Any disputes about the advent, interpretation or application of these purchase conditions or other relationships between you as a customer and PLWD, shall finally be settled by the general court with the Stockholm District Court as the first instance.
15. MODIFICATION OF CONDITIONS
15.1 PLWD reserves the right to make changes to these conditions at any time. Should PLWD make changes to these terms and conditions, we will notify you by publishing the changes on the website. Changes to the terms and conditions are effective from the moment you accept the terms and conditions (when purchasing or visiting the website), or 30 days after we have informed you of the changes. PLWD recommends that you regularly check the website to be aware of any changes to the terms and conditions.
16. INVALIDITY
16.1 If the competent court, authority or arbitration panel finds any provision of these Terms to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision, and all other provisions, remain valid and enforceable to the extent permitted by applicable law. The provisions declared invalid or unenforceable will be replaced by relevant legal guidance and advice.
